Okay, first, happy August. I guess I’ve not been too great with keeping up with here, no excuses, nothing interesting to say.

The Democrats are slowly coming to Denver for the Convention, and my town is beginning to fill up. Tent cities are popping up around the Pepsi Center. Add to that 66th Annual WorldCon (Denvention 3). And I’m in the center of it all.

Big month for Denver. Here’s hoping we don’t get gassed more than once a day by our over-zealous police force, handed a mandate by our fine, fine mayor, John Hickenlooper.

Sometimes I think the only reason I voted for him was his name. Hickenlooper. Hickenlooper. Hickenlooper. Otherwise, he’s been a total disappointment. At least he made parking free at meters on Sundays.
