Misplaced Lines

So this morning, on my ride into the office, I was stopped at a red light behind a woman who was putting on makeup.

So, I leaned on my horn, startling her enough to draw a line from her left eye out to her ear. I couldn’t possibly be more happy with the result.

Q: Why do women wear makeup and perfume?
A: Because they’re ugly & they smell bad.

That’s awesome! I definitely wear makeup (and perfume), but don’t apply anything but chapstick in the car. I’m just not that co-ordinated, plus it seems beneficial to actually pay attention while driving.

You know, I’ve always been of the belief that if you need both your hands to do something, your brain should be in on it too–which is why I still don’t approve of cellphone headsets in the car. If the call is important enough to risk MY life (as the potential for you to swerve and kill me is increased) then it’s important enough to pull over and take the call like a human.

The laziness and inconsiderate behavior… oy. ;)
